What is Jooners?
Jooners is a website for busy parents who are looking for a way to organize and simplify their family's lives, and connect with the community in a unique way. With Jooners, family scheduling and event collaboration are managed in a few easy steps. Click & Go pre-designed online organizers help you do everything from getting friends to sign-up to bring food for a potluck to organizing a carpool across the entire sports season with multiple families! Jooners brings it all together!

Registration & Sign-in

How do I become a member of Jooners?
To become a member of Jooners, go to www.jooners.com. Click Free Join Now, and complete the online registration. Read the terms and conditions, click agree, and then you are on your way!

Is Jooners membership sign-up free?
Yes. When you sign-up with Jooners, it is completely free.

May I have more than one account on Jooners?
Yes. You may have more than one account on www.jooners.com if you have more than one email address. Each of your Jooners accounts is associated with a unique email address, and the data entered for each individual account is distinct from your other Jooners accounts.

How do I delete my account?
If you decide to discontinue using your Jooners account, there is no need to delete it. Your account will be available should you choose to return at a later date. Just remember your login information.

How do I stop or sspend delivery of Jooners Weekly Schedule?
If you would like to suspend email delivery of the Weekly Schedule that Jooners sends every Sunday, first login to your account. In the upper right hand corner, click Account. You will see a summary of your account information, including the status of delivery of the Weekly Schedule. To suspend service of the Weekly Schedule, check the appropriate box. Click Save to save your changes. If you would like to resume delivery of the Weekly Schedule, go back to your account summary and change the status in the check box. The first Sunday after you resume delivery, you will start receiving your Weekly Schedule. Don't forget, you can forward it to your spouse or caregiver so everyone stays in sync.

Is my Jooners account and email information confidential?
Yes. Your Jooners account information is confidential with the exception of your screen name, which will appear anytime you post something to the greater Jooners community through the Community Calendars, Resources, In the Know or Seeing Stars sections of www.jooners.com. Your email is confidential unless you choose to share this information with others. Your email address only shows up in the envelope information when you email lists, invitations, or reminders through Jooners.

Does Jooners share or sell email addresses?
No. Jooners uses your personally identifiable information only as described in our Privacy Policy listed under the Terms and Conditions Agreement. Jooners does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Can I change the email address associated with my Jooners account?
Yes. You may change your email address associated with your Jooners account anytime. First you need to sign-in to www.jooners.com. Once your homepage appears, select Account (upper right-hand side of the orange Jooners banner). Within Account, click the Email field and type in your new email address, then click Save. Your new email will now appear in your Jooners' correspondence, and you will use it for signing in to Jooners. Note: all entered data associated with your previous email address will NOT be preserved.

If I change my email address, will my Jooners contacts receive an automatic notification of this change?
No. Jooners does not automatically send a change of email address notification to your Jooners contacts included in your My People or My Groups lists.

Can I change my Jooners account password?
Yes. You can change your password after logging in. Go to the top, right-hand side of the orange Jooners masthead and click Account. Then, click Change Password. Enter your old password and then, enter your new password twice. Click Change. Your new password will be activated.

May I change my Screen Name?
Yes. You may change your screen name after signing in. Go to the top, right-hand side of the orange Jooners masthead and click Account. Then, delete your old screen name in the Screen Name dialog box, and type in your new screen name. Click Save, and your new screen name will be activated and show up on your Jooners community postings.

How do I report abusive comments or spamming on Jooners?

Getting Started

How do I import my contacts into Jooners?
You will have been given the opportunity to do this the first time you log in after becoming a member. However, if you chose not to import contacts at that time, you can always do it later. To import contacts after becoming a member, you can hand-enter data or you can click Import Contacts (in the My People view in FRIENDS( where directions are included and more information is listed below) and all your contacts will be imported into your My People list automatically.

From your list of people, you may create group lists of people. For more information on creating groups, see directions under My Groups. Next, create a private calendar under My Calendars. From there, you can send invitations, create lists, review community calendars and resources, and seek advice from other Jooners' members. It's all a click away at Jooners!

What is in Account?
Account is the place you go to update your account information, input and update your Public Profile and see your Resources and In the Know contributions to the Jooners community.

What basic information is in Account?
Account automatically picks up your name, email address, screen name and zipcode that you entered in the registration process. Additionally, Account asks for your cell phone number so that you may send yourself Scribbles via SMS text messaging. This is an optional feature. If you don't have a cell phone or do not wish to put your cell phone number in Account, that is OK.

Why do I have to input a screen name in my Jooners account?
Your screen name allows you to participate anonymously in the Community Calendars, Resources, In the Know and Seeing Stars sections of Jooners. Jooners requires a screen name to keep your identity private as you ask & answer questions in these forums. Your participation in each of the sections, however, is purely optional.

Can I change the email address associated with my Jooners account?

Once the Dashboard appears, select My Info (upper right-hand side of the orange Jooners banner). Within My Info, click the Email field and type in your new email address, then click Save. Your new email will now appear in your Jooners' correspondence, and you will use it for signing in to Jooners. Note: all entered data associated with your previous email address will NOT be preserved.

How do I create My Public Profile and who can see it?
On the top, right-hand side of the orange Jooners masthead, click My Info. Then click My Public Profile, and fill in as much information as you would like about yourself, your interests, etc. It is all anonymous, although all registered Jooners' members can view the information you have filled in under My Public Profile. This profile is only linked to your Jooners screen name, which is included with any resources, reviews, questions, or answers you post under the Resources or In the Know sections of Jooners. When another Jooners member clicks on your screen name, they only will see the information you included in you're My Public Profile, but not your real name or e-mail address.

How do I create My Jooners' Resources?
The My Jooners' Resources section under the My Info page of Jooners is created automatically after you post an entry to the Resources page of Jooners. See the Resources section below for more information on this topic.
