How do I seek advice from other members of Jooners?
If you need some advice, then the In the Know section of Jooners is the place to go. Select the CALENDAR tab, then in the lower left side of the page, click the linkSee events in my community. You will enter the Jooners community section. Click In the Know tab and click the Ask a New Question button. Enter your question in the Question
dialog box (limited to 150 characters, so it needs to be brief). If
your question has several parts, add additional information under the Details dialog box. Click the Choose Category button to select your category. If you want to be notified when responses to your question are posted to Jooners' In the Know, select the Please email me when I receive an answer to my question box. Then click the Submit button to post your question to the Jooners community.
What should I do if I have a question that doesn't fit into the current Jooners In the Know categories?
If your question doesn't fit into our categories, select the Other category from the pop-up menu.
How do I search for an area of interest on Jooners?
To find advice on a topic of interest to you, click the yellow In the Know tab in the Jooners community section. Click the Search for In the Know box, and then type in the topic for which you want to search. Then click the Search
button. To search for a term inside a category, first click the
category name then follow the same steps. A set of questions that match
your search term will be shown. Click a question to see the posted
answers.
How do I respond to a question posted on In the Know?
At Jooners we welcome participation in our In the Know forum and give 5 points to each of your replies. Click the yellow In the Know tab. When you find a question to which you have an answer, click the question. Then, click the Reply button on the right-hand side of the dialog box. Within the Your reply dialog box, enter your response then click the Submit button. Your reply will be submitted under your screen name to ensure your anonymity.
How do I know when one of my questions has been answered?
When you submit a question, click the Please email me when I receive answers to my question
box at the bottom of the window. Jooners will automatically send you
and email letting you know there is a new answer waiting for you under
the question you posted in In the Know. Just login to your account and go to your question (in the Jooners community section) to see any new answer posted.
How do I see the most recently asked questions?
To see the most recent questions, click the yellow In the Know
tab. The newest questions across all categories are posted under the
category section, with the newest question at the top of the list. To
see the newest questions within a category, click on a category name.
The newest questions for that category will be listed in sequential
order. The most recent questions are at the top of the page and descend
in order of the date posted down the page.
If I think an answer is helpful, how can I thank the person who posted it?
It is so nice to receive a thank you from a member of the Jooners community. To do this, identify the In the Know
question to which you want to respond either by searching for a topic,
or clicking on a category name. Click the question to see the answers.
To send a thank you note, click the button to the right of the answers
entitled, Thank "Screen Name". Personalize your thank you note and click the Send button.
Can I delete or edit an In the Know question after it is posted? Does Jooners remove questions?
No. Jooners In the Know questions remain in the forum.
May I tell a friend about a question and answer I found on In the Know?
Yes. Your friends will be delighted that you sent them advice on a
topic of interest to them. After you have found a question of interest
to your friend, click the Send to a Friend button. Choose a person or group by clicking on either the Choose from My Groups or My People button, or enter their email address in the dialog box by hand. Personalize your message to them and click the Send button. Jooners automatically will send the question and the set of replies to your friend's email address.
Is there a limit to how many questions I can answer on Jooners?
No. There is no limit on www.jooners.com
as to the number of questions you can answer. The more the merrier, especially if you are a subject expert.
And, you can tell your friends about In the Know and request that they provide answers, too.
