What are Resources?
The Resources section of Jooners is a community forum for members to share their most trusted resources with others in the Jooners community.
How do I list a resource to recommend to members of Jooners?
To list a resource to members of Jooners, click the CALENDAR tab, then click the link at the bottom left side See events in my community. You will arrive in Jooners' community section. Click the red Resources tab on the top of the page. A list of current Jooners' Resources will appear. Click the Add a Jooners Resource button, and the Add a Jooners Resource dialog box will open. Fill in the information about your resource, and click the Choose Category
pop-up list to select the category under which your resource will be
listed. Click the Continue button and rate your resource. (To rate a
resource, just drag your mouse across the stars until you find the
rating that best fits). If you also want to save this resource to your My Resources(this list appears under PEOPLEin theCALENDARtab), click the Add to My Resources button.
What should I do if I have a resource that doesn't fit into the current Jooners' Resources categories?
If your question doesn't fit into our categories, select the Other category from the pop-up menu before posting your resource.
How do I write a review of an existing Jooners Resource?
To write a review on an existing resource listed on Jooners, click the red Resources
tab, then locate a resource. If you want to add a review of this
resource, click the name of the resource. A window with this resource's
details will appear. Click the Add a Review button, located under the reviews section of the page. The Write a Review dialog box will open. Rate the resource on a scale of one to five stars (five being the best!), then write a review in the Comments section. When you are done, click the Submit
button. Your rating and comment will appear under Reviews section of
the resource, and your rating will be averaged with the overall ratings
for this resource.
How do I search for a resource on Jooners?
To find advice on a topic of interest to you, click the CALENDAR tab, then click the link at the bottom left side See events in my community. You will arrive in Jooners' community section. Click the red Resources tab. Click the Search for Community Resources box, and then type in the resource for which you want to search. Then click the Search
button. To search for a resource inside a category, first click the
category name, then follow the same steps mentioned above. A set of
resources that match your search term will be shown. Click a particular
resource to see the posted reviews.
When I find a resource that will help me organize my busy life, how do I add it to My Resources list located in FRIENDS?
When you find a resource to add to your My Resources list, click the
resource name. A window with this resource's details will appear. Click
the Add to My Resources
button located on the right side of this resource listing. Success! Now
this community resource and it's address and phone information will
appear in your My Resources list.
How can I find the resources with the highest ratings?
To find the resources with the highest ratings, click a category in the red Resource tab. Under the Results, a toggle button listing either Highest Rated or Most Reviewed appears on the upper right-hand side of the screen. Select Highest Rated. This will categorize the selected resources from Highest to Lowest Ratings by Jooners' members.
How can I find the resources with the most reviews?
To find the resources with the most reviews, click a category in the red Resource tab. Under the results, a toggle button listing either Highest Rated or Most Reviewed appears on the upper right-hand side of the screen. Select Most Reviewed. This will categorize the selected resources from those with the most to least number of reviews by Jooners' members.
If I think a resource review is outstanding, how can I thank the person who posted it?
It is so nice to receive a thank you from a member of the Jooners
community. To do this, select the resource review, and click the Thank <screen name> button located to the right of the review. A Thank You dialog box will appear, and you may either use the automatic thank you note or personalize the note by clicking in the You can edit this message box, and writing your own note. When you are done, send your Thank You note by clicking the Send button.
Can I delete or edit a resource after it is posted?
No. Jooners Resources
remain in the listings. If you become dissatisfied with a resource you
published, please enter a new review for the resources to let others
know.
May I tell a friend about a cool Resource I found on Jooners?
Yes. Your friends will be delighted that you sent them a trusted
resource. After you have found a resource of interest to your friend,
click the Send to a Friend button. Choose a person or group by clicking on either the Choose from My Groups or My People button, or enter their email address in the dialog box by hand. Personalize your message to them and click the Send button. Jooners automatically will send the resource information with a link to the reviews on Jooners.
Is there a limit to how many reviews I can submit?
No. There is no limit on www.jooners.com
as to the number of reviews you can submit. The more the merrier.
Review as many resources as you'd like, especially if you are a
subject expert. And, you can tell your friends about Resources and request that they provide reviews, too.
