Scarecrow Stuffing with Friends
Gather your kid's friends & families and make a scarecrow together this fall! To create the scarecrow's skeleton, attach the wooden pieces together to form a cross. Stuff the pants first, once they are full, tuck the shirt into them, then button & zip the pants. Stuff the arms of the shirt first, then the rest of the torso. Accessorize the scarecrow and add a few corn stalks & pumpkins to complete the scene!
Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck
The first Thanksgiving feast was celebrated in 1621 by the pilgrims of the Plymouth colony along with about 90 Wampanoag Indians. The Pilgrims had suffered through a devastating winter and without the help of the Indians, all would have perished. The Thanksgiving feast was to show deep gratitude for the generosity and kindness the Indians displayed. This Thanksgiving gather your family & friends and share this special meal - giving everyone a part to play. Create or revive traditions that make the celebration meaningful. In our family we each reflect on what we've been most thankful for during the past year.
